Hi everyone. Thank you for stopping by, even though I haven’t posted in quite some time.
This round of radio silence is due to a bad case of writer’s block. I have wanted to write. I think about it every day. But every time I open my laptop to start, I stare at the blank page for longer than I would like to admit. Even as I write this, I struggle to put my thoughts into words and maintain the concentration needed to keep going.
I hate when this fog rolls in. For example, I had a good idea for a post a few weeks ago. I started the process by figuring out the title, creating the cover art, and gathering the pictures I planned to include within the post. But that was as far as I got. I couldn’t find the words to start or think of how to make it flow. Hopefully, soon I can find a way to make that idea a reality, but for now, it is staying in the vault.
This slump is temporary. I am still here, and I am not going anywhere. All I have to do is find that one thing that will get those creative juices flowing again. Sadly, there is no universal fix since each block has different solutions. It can be a change in the weather, a good song, an inspirational quote, or simply waiting for the storm to pass. I don’t know what the answer will be this time around. All I know is that it will be coming soon. The longest I was in a block was during college, and I refuse to let it get that bad ever again.
So thank you all for being here and sticking around. This blog will be back to normal soon. All I ask is that you bare with me a little longer, and I promise you won’t regret it.
